FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky House lawmakers have approved legislation aimed at preventing sex offenders from stalking children online.

The measure passed the the House by a vote of 97-0. It now goes to the Senate for consideration.

The measure would require registered sex offenders to tell law enforcement authorities their e-mail addresses just as they’re required to provide their physical addresses. It also prohibits sex offenders from using social-networking Web sites like MySpace and Facebook.
